VGT is the turbocharger which provides a different effective aspect ratio as per the condition of the engine, and this is done by using adjustable vanes between the inlet and the turbine. The Wastegate turbocharger controls and limits the speed of the turbine. The Wastegate valve regulates the boost pressure provided by the turbocharger.
